Dreaming The Impossible And Achieving The Impossible
Nothing is impossible if there is an effort behind it. The word impossible itself says "I am possible" that depends on our attitudes. it is also a word to discourage us from our goals. Very few things are actually impossible. You can achieve your goals if you are determined and are willing to work hard.
Nelson Mandela, a leader who was loved and respected immensely by people from all over the world. He was someone who dared to do the impossible. With his grit and perseverance, Mandela went beyond the conventional and brought about a peaceful transition from the white-dominated government to a multiracial democracy.
The point I’m trying to make here is, don't ever be casted down with the impossible because nothing actually is unattainable in this world.
Usain Bolt covered 100m in just 9.58 seconds. How’s that for people who undermined human speed and mental power? It always seems impossible until it’s done.
However, Impossible things require a lot of dedication, hard work, and probably some luck as well. Most people see these things as unobtainable for themselves and often try to share their opinion to those who are striving for their goals. I believe that a major cause of this is laziness as well as low self esteem. People don’t want to put in a lot of time or effort into something. This is because they are either lazy and unmotivated, or are too scared of failure to try.
But humans can’t fly, but yet, We built things that fly, breath underwater, see distant objects, travel faster than any other animal on the planet through technology.
Dreaming the Impossible and achieving the impossible, the following criteria has to be considered:
Think bigger - Way bigger
To do the impossible, you don’t just have to think outside of the box but even have to break the box and get out of it. Oftentimes we tend to put labels on us that restrict our potential and stops us from doing and achieving great things.
Get outside of your head. To get to the level where you’re liberated and free, you have to develop a different mindset. Everything you do think beyond your mindset.
To quote Bruce Lee, “If you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it’ll spread into your work, into your morality, in your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
How to be invincible
If you want to do bigger things in life, then operate at that level of invincible. Attempt everything that you think you can’t do. Start getting the simple things right. Don’t complicate simple stuff. If you’ve tackled the easiest things right, you’re more than ready to take up the loftier tasks.
Set unrealistic goals
If you continue to do the same thing, you’ll continue getting the same results. The super-achievers and ultra-productive people set unrealistic goals instead of the realistic ones.
The reason are because they are smart enough to accomplish tasks which are doable but they challenge themselves by setting impossible goals. Even if they fail at it, they would still be above everyone else’s success.
Be willing to make sacrifices
Usain Bolt broke those records by training day in and day out, in scorching heat and enduring extreme weather conditions. Not just chilling with friends and watching Netflix just the way some of us do. He made sacrifices until he got what he wanted.
Never ever give up
The only thing that can take you places is your willingness to put in a relentless effort. Success in life comes when you refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles, failure, and loss only act as motivation.
You will get knocked down and that’s okay. If you fall down seven times, get up eight. Don’t let the courage drop and put up a fight until the last drop of your blood.
